We currently have a vacancy for a Shoulder Surgery Fellow to Professor Ofer Levy

Clinical Research Fellow in Shoulder Surgery at the Reading Shoulder Unit based at the Berkshire Independent Hospital.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a young orthopaedic surgeon, who has completed their training, either in the UK or abroad, to undertake research and clinical work under the supervision of Professor Ofer Levy.

The candidate should be registered with the GMC and the post is initially for 12 months.

The post aims at boosting the candidate’s academic and clinical achievements, and gaining excellent surgical skills.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake clinical and operative work at a fellow level including shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery.

The successful candidate will also enjoy a multitude of research opportunities and be expected to produce high quality research for peer review, publication and national/international meeting presentations.

The job has a great track record for both academic, clinical research and gaining excellent surgical skills vital for future positions.

The role is flexible and can be tailored according to the candidate’s research/clinical needs. If desired, we will also support you in expanding the role to pursue a higher degree.
